δpinned = Hh²(L + 2h)/(12EI); δfixed = Hh³(4L + 6h)/[24EI(L + 6h)]

Assumptions

Linear elastic, small displacements. Prismatic Euler–Bernoulli frame members; truss bars carry axial force only with ideal pin joints. Self-weight is excluded. No shear deformation, geometric nonlinearity or design checks.

Classical sway neglects axial deformation; the engine includes it. Equal EI for beam and columns; horizontal load split equally at the two top nodes.
